Accessibility Statement
Our accessibility commitment for the StudAI Foundry Season 2 website and platform, what we have implemented, known limitations and how to report barriers.
⚠ Draft — pending formal legal review
Draft prepared July 2026 · applies to the Foundry marketing website and participant platform
1. Our commitment
StudAI One aims for the Foundry websites to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. A programme about building technology for everyone should itself be usable by everyone — including participants using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced motion.
2. What is implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with a correct heading hierarchy and landmark regions.
- Full keyboard operability: navigation menus, accordions, the edition map switcher and all forms work without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
- A skip-to-content link on every page.
- Text alternatives: meaningful alt text for informative images, and a text alternative for the interactive Tamil Nadu edition map.
- Colour contrast designed to meet AA on both dark and light sections.
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion: animations are disabled for users who request reduced motion.
- Form fields with programmatic labels and clear error messaging in the registration flow.
3. Known limitations
- Some documents linked from the platform (such as participant-uploaded PDFs and third-party pages like GitHub) are outside our control.
- Certificate PDFs are generated documents; participants needing an accessible alternative can request one via the support desk.
- The platform is under active development; regressions are possible and reports are welcome.
4. Report a barrier
If any part of the website or platform is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us through the support desk or foundry@studai.one with the page address and what happened. Accessibility reports are prioritised, and reasonable accommodations for participation — including at the physical finals — can be arranged; venue accessibility requests should be raised before the event through the same channels.
