Jury

The people accountable for the outcomes.

AI writes reports; juries make decisions. Each edition has its own jury panel that verifies selections and judges the physical final in person.

How the Jury Works

Independence by design.

Panels

One panel per edition

Chennai and Coimbatore each have their own jury panel — separate cities, separate judgement, separate winners.

Blind-first

Score before seeing AI

Human evaluators record their own scores before viewing AI numbers, keeping human judgement genuinely independent.

Conflicts

Declared and enforced

Jurors declare conflicts of interest and never score teams they are connected to.

Variance

Disagreement is a feature

Significant AI–human score differences trigger moderation review rather than silent averaging.

At the Finals

What the jury looks for on stage.

They will probe

  • Does the demo run live, on demand?
  • Can every member explain their contribution?
  • Why AI — and why this AI — for this problem?
  • What breaks first at scale, and do you know it?

They reward

  • Working software over polished slides
  • Honest limitations over inflated claims
  • Measured impact over projected impact
  • Teams that engaged with three locks of feedback

Jury panels for both editions are finalised through the operational platform and announced to finalist teams with their event-day instructions. Faculty and senior professionals interested in jury service can send a request through the Get Involved page — every request is reviewed and answered by email.

Build something worth judging.

The jury sees only what you prove. Start proving.
