How It Works

From registration to the finals stage.

One team, three evaluated build locks, one physical final. Here is the complete Season 2 process, end to end.

The Complete Process

Nine steps, in order.

Step 1 · Register

Apply and pay securely

Register with your email, verify with a one-time code and pay the team fee through Razorpay during the application itself. Teams have 1–3 members and choose their edition — Chennai or Coimbatore.

Step 2 · Team setup

Complete your team

Invite members from the participant dashboard. Cross-college teams are welcome; institutional categories are verified automatically from email domains.

Step 3 · Lock 1 opens

Define

Submit your problem, users, evidence, SDG alignment, AI opportunity and expected impact. A rolling deadline applies from the moment the lock opens for your team.

Step 4 · First report

Evaluated feedback arrives

Your AI evaluation report scores seven criteria and lists strengths, weaknesses and concrete recommendations. Lock 1 includes one revision opportunity.

Step 5 · Lock 2

Design

Submit your solution blueprint: user journey, architecture, AI approach, data plan, responsible-AI plan and impact metrics. Improvement from Lock 1 is explicitly scored.

Step 6 · Lock 3

Prove

Submit the working prototype — live link, GitHub repository, demo video, screenshots, architecture, contribution declaration and known limitations. Link integrity is checked automatically.

Step 7 · Selection

AI recommends, humans verify

Final selection weighs Lock 1 (15%), Lock 2 (20%), Lock 3 (50%) and human review (15%). Significant AI-human score variance triggers moderation automatically.

Step 8 · Finals

Demo in person

Selected teams present working prototypes to the jury at their edition’s venue — Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai (28 August 2026) or Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore (25 September 2026).

Step 9 · Results

Winners and recognition

Each edition’s jury confirms its own winners from its own ₹1,00,000 pool. Every finalist receives certificates; every paid team receives participation recognition.
