This Privacy Policy explains how StudAI One, as host and operator of StudAI Foundry Season 2, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in connection with this website and the Event.

- Educational and professional information — institution or organisation, department, year of study or role, and optional profile links.
- RIT verification information — institutional email address and registration number, used to verify RIT Internal eligibility.
- Team and participation data — team membership, SDG and problem selections, submissions, mentor feedback and evaluation outcomes.
- Payment metadata — order identifiers, payment identifiers, amounts and status received from Razorpay. Card and banking details are processed by Razorpay and are never stored by this platform.
- Consent records — the policy versions you accepted, with timestamp and technical metadata where legally appropriate.
- Attendance, certificate and communication records — event-day check-ins, issued certificates and emails sent to you.
- Device and log information — IP address, browser data and security logs used for fraud prevention and platform protection.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to administer registration and teams, process payments, verify eligibility, operate mentoring and judging, record attendance, issue certificates, send event communication, maintain security, prevent fraud, produce aggregate operational statistics and comply with legal obligations. We process information on the basis of your consent, the performance of the participation agreement and our legitimate interest in operating a secure event platform.
4. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the Event: with Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai for venue coordination and RIT Internal verification; with Razorpay for payment processing; with email and hosting infrastructure providers for platform operation; and with assigned mentors and jury members strictly to the extent required for feedback and evaluation. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention, Correction and Deletion
Information is retained for as long as needed for the Event, certificate verification, financial record-keeping and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information through the Contact page, subject to records we are legally required to keep (including payment, consent and audit records).
6. Cookies and Security
The platform uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session integrity and security. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access control and audit logging. No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security; we will act promptly on any identified incident.
