1. Purpose

All solutions built for StudAI Foundry Season 2 must be engineered responsibly. Responsible AI is a scored judging criterion, and violations of this policy may result in rejection or disqualification.

2. Data and Privacy Requirements

  • Use only data you may lawfully process, with consent where required.
  • Protect privacy and secure any personal data your system handles.
  • Disclose all dataset sources and their permitted-use terms.

3. Engineering Requirements

  • Assess and mitigate bias; design for fairness across affected groups.
  • Make significant automated decisions explainable and keep meaningful human oversight.
  • Engineer for safety and prevent foreseeable misuse.
  • State model limitations, including known failure modes and hallucination risks.
  • Apply heightened caution in sensitive domains; medical, legal and financial applications require explicit disclaimers and must not present outputs as professional advice.
  • Disclose all external APIs and AI models used and explain the limitations of your approach.

4. Prohibited Systems

  • Systems that cause or facilitate harm, or that are designed for unlawful surveillance.
  • Discriminatory systems and deceptive impersonation of real people or institutions.
  • Malware, credential theft, or any system that compromises the security of people or platforms.
  • Unsafe autonomous actions without proportionate safeguards and human control.
